Welcome everyone. I am Dr. Sardar Baniul Ahamed, MBBS, M.Phil (BSMMU), a Clinical Oncologist with 12 years of experience in the field of Oncology. I currently serve as an Assistant Professor at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, one of the largest public hospitals Bangladesh, where I specialize in providing comprehensive cancer management. Also, I have successfully completed training course on “Physical Protection and Security Management of Radioactive Sources” in Nepal and “Radiation Protection for the Radiation Control Officer of Radiotherapy Facilities” at BAERA, Dhaka, and currently serve as a Radiation Control Officer in my institute.
My expertise encompasses cancer screening, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other systemic therapies. Besides, I have been trained on 3D CRT and IMRT. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to delivering high-quality care to my patients, focusing on their holistic well-being. In addition to my clinical practice, I am deeply involved in cancer research. Also, I am involved in several awareness programs regarding cancer. My contributions to this field have been recognized through the publication of my research in national and international journals and my active participation in national and international conferences.
Being a member of prominent professional organizations such as the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), the Bangladesh Society of Radiation Oncology (BSRO), the Bangladesh Cancer Society (BCS), and the Sylhet Cancer Study Group (SCSG), I always remain connected with my colleagues and stay abreast of the latest advancements in our field.
My aim is to improve cancer care, better public health initiatives, and enhance supportive care for individuals affected by cancer. I look forward to connecting with similar professionals and exploring contemporary advancement in the management of cancer care.
